GPS dongle for Kenwood FleetSync and NEXEDGE portable radios
The GPS-511-NXQD adapter uses Kenwood multi-pin radios FleetSync or NEXEDGE protocol to send geographic location data over the radio system. The dongle attaches to the radio's universal device connector port and secures with a thumbscrew. The GPS-511-NXQD draws power from the radio and is active while the radio is powered on, and constantly feeds the user's GPS coordinates and other data to the radio, which can be sent over the air.
The GPS-511-NXQD uses the same data format as Kenwood GPS mics, and can be used along side of any mapping or tracking software that supports Kenwood GPS microphones.
