The IC-F5121D series is a magnificent transceiver from the house of Icom transceiver. It is specially designed to provide you everything that you can get from a business radio. The device features IDAS digital mode operation which makes it compatible with IDAS multi-site conventional and IDAS single-site trunking. Thus, it offers several programmable functions like push-to-talk ID, status, call alert, GPS data, emergency, remote monitor, stun, kill, revive, digital voice scrambler, short data message and radio check.
The in-built two-tone, five-tone and MDC 1200 signaling in the analog mode of the radio facilitates selective calling, silent stand-by while other are talking, convenient function programming to and easy monitoring to one or two priority channels. Its Lone worker function provides the information regarding the absence of operator to the co-worker with beep and emergency signal transmission.
The radio offers copious room for company growth with its 128 channel capacity which can be easily managed under eight memory zones. It is easily operable with programmable large buttons and LCD display. The back-lighted, eight-character LCD display allows you to use the device even in poor lit environment. It comes equipped with 4 watts typ. front-mounted speaker which delivers full spectrum audio inside a vehicle. The digital modulation further helps enhance received voice quality.
This excellent land mobile provides digital and analog mixed mode operation and deliver great performance irrespective of the atmosphere. It is perfect for use even in roughest environment. The radio is made from MIL standard 810 F tested polycarbonate front panel and rugged aluminum die-cast chassis. You can use a suitable handy microphone from the available five levels of microphone grain which further adds to clearer transmission.
